t&cs:  1-to-1 Lessons and Courses

booking policy

  1. Please request your lesson or course of lessons using our lesson request form.  Once received, we will be in touch within 24hr to schedule your lesson(s).  At that time, we will ask you to confirm your booking  with payment, via our online shop. 
  2. Lessons are booked on a first-come-first-served basis, meaning your lesson or course of lessons, is only confirmed once payment is received.  
  3. If we do not receive payment for your 1-to-1 lesson or course of lessons more than 24hrs before the scheduled day/time of your lesson or first day of your course, your lesson(s) will be released and available for another student to book.

When booking full or half term 1-to-1 courses, please note the additional terms:  

  1. You are booking the same day/time each week for the duration of the term.
  2. Each full or half term course purchase includes one lesson per week.  If you would like additional lessons between scheduled course dates, you may want to purchase a second course or single lessons as/when needed.  For example, if you want to come twice a week regularly for a full term, the most appropriate purchase for you would be two full term courses.
  3. Our Autumn 2018 Full Term Courses starts Monday 10 September 2018 and ends on Friday 21 December 2018.  Your course can be booked at your convenience and teacher availability. We will have one week off over half-term (Monday 23 October - Friday 27 October) and there will be no lesson that week.
  4. Our Autumn 2018 Full Term Part 1 Courses start Monday 10 September 2018 and end on Friday 20 October 2018.  Your course can be booked at your convenience and teacher availability. 
  5. Our Autumn 2018 Full Term Part 12 Courses start Monday 30 October 2018 and end on Friday 21 December 2018.  Your course can be booked at your convenience and teacher availability.  

Internet Lessons: 

  1. If you have booked an Internet Lesson with us, please contact us at least 1 day before the lesson for an initial call to ensure that everything is set up correctly (microphone, camera, etc).

no-shows/cancellations

1-to-1 Lessons (Single Lessons/Skype Lessons)

  1. If you give us more than 24hrs notice to cancel or reschedule your 1-to-1 lesson it will be available to book at another date before it's expiry. 
  2. If you neglect to give us more than 24hrs notice to cancel or reschedule your 1-to-1 lesson, it will be treated as having been used whether or not you attend and you will not be entitled to a refund or to reschedule. 
  3. If we have to cancel your lesson, for any reason (such as teacher illness or emergency), we will do our best to give you advance notice and in such instances, you will be able to re-book that lesson, with expiry date of that session be extended 14 days.  It is your responsibility to make sure we have the best way to contact you to notify you of cancellations.

1-to-1 Lessons (Full or Half Term Course of Lessons)

  1. If you give us more than 24hrs notice to cancel or reschedule your 1-to-1 full or half-term course of lessons prior to the start of your scheduled course, you may request a refund.
  2. If you neglect to give us more than 24hrs notice to cancel or reschedule your 1-to-1 full or half-term course of lessons prior to the start of your scheduled course, your course will be treated as having been used whether or not you attend and you will not be entitled to a refund or to reschedule. 
  3. If you need to reschedule one of the lessons from your full or half-term course of lessons, for example due to illness or other commitment, you may be able to rebook that lesson during that same week on another day/time per teacher availability, which may not be possible in peak times.  This lesson cannot be transferred to other weeks of your course.  For the avoidance of doubt, if you are unable to make a lesson as part of your pre-scheduled full or half-term course of lessons and are not able to make it up during that same week, regardless if that is because of your schedule, or unavailability of our teachers, that lesson will be lost. 
  4. If we have to cancel your lesson for any reason (such as teacher illness or emergency), we will do our best to give you advance notice and in such instances, you will be able to re-book that lesson during the same term.  It is your responsibility to make sure we have the best way to contact you to notify you of cancellations.

in addition, for 1-to-1 Lessons Delivered via Skype...

  1. In case we have to deal with technical problems and poor internet connection we reserve the right to cancel your Skype Lesson. We will contact you to let you know in advance, unless the problem is urgent or an emergency. 
  2. If we experience any technical problems during your Skype Lesson, which will prevent us from continuing it, we reserve the right to rebook the lesson for another day. However, you will only be given the amount of time remaining from your lesson. For example: if your lesson got interrupted 20 mins after it started, you will only be given 30 mins for your next lesson.  

your purchase

  1. We cannot guarantee specific equipment will be available for your lesson.  It is at our teachers' discretion, which equipment will provide you with the best workout to help you achieve your goals.
  2. Please note the expiration and terms of your purchase.  For the avoidance of doubt, unless otherwise noted, all single lesson purchases are valid for 3 months from their purchase date and must be used during that time and all courses will follow the schedule confirmed at booking.
  3. All lessons can be booked per teacher availability.  We will do our best to accommodate preferred lesson times but in some cases, this may not be possible (especially during peak times or holiday periods). You will not be entitled to any refund for any un-used single lessons on your account.  To avoid losing pre-purchased single lessons, please book at time of purchase. 
  4. You purchase a lesson with a specific teacher. This means that in the event of unavailability of your chosen teacher, your lesson cannot be rebooked and taken with another teacher.  Each teacher works for him or herself and services are non-transferrable unless otherwise stated.
  5. Please note that you are booking the same day/time each week for the duration of that term when purchasing and booking your full or half-term course and that each full or half-term course includes one lesson per week (with the exception of half-term holidays, when there are no lessons).  Additional lessons will be charged at standard rates.
  6. We do not run lessons/classes over half term, school, or bank holidays.

refunds

  1. You cannot transfer un-used single lessons or bookings without our permission.  Please, just ask us.  Such permission will not be unreasonably withheld.
  2. You cannot transfer full or half-term courses.
  3. All lessons can be booked per teacher availability.  We will do our best to accommodate preferred lesson times but in some cases, this may not be possible (especially during peak times or holiday periods). You will not be entitled to any refund for any un-used single lessons on your account.  To avoid losing pre-purchased single lessons, please book at time of purchase. 
  4. No refunds or extensions will be given for expired un-used single lesson purchases.  
  5. No refunds will be given for any un-used portions of pre-paid course purchases. 
  6. You can request a refund for active single lessons/services or for courses that have been cancelled more than 24hrs from their confirmed start date.
